History– Spring Valley is an unincorporated town in Las Vegas, Clark County of Nevada. Spring Valley is just about two miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. This town was officially formed in May of 1981 and according to a 2010 census, the population was 178,395. Spring Valley area is mostly housing subdivisions, along with strip malls which line the mass boulevards that connect to Las Vegas to the Strip. The 59-acre Eagle Valley Reservoir gives fisherman a chance to catch an array of fish like rainbow, tiger, and German brown trout, while attracting countless waterfowl and shore birds (including mallards, herons, avocets, and even trumpeter swan).
